MRC join the HM Armed Forces Corporate Covenant

The Minimal Risk Consultancy team are proud to announce that they have signed up to the HM Armed Forces Corporate Covenant.

The armed forces covenant sets out the relationship between the nation, the government and the armed forces. It recognises that the whole nation has a moral obligation to members of the armed forces and their families, and it establishes how they should expect to be treated.

The covenant’s 2 principles are that:

1. The armed forces community should not face disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services.
AND
2. Special consideration is appropriate in some cases, especially for those who have given the most such as the injured and the bereaved.

The covenant exists to re-dress the disadvantages that the armed forces community may face in comparison to other citizens, and to recognise any sacrifices that they have made to the nation.

The armed forces covenant is supported by the community covenant and the corporate covenant. The community covenant encourages local communities to support the armed forces community in their area and promote public understanding and awareness. The corporate covenant is a public pledge from businesses and other organisations who wish to demonstrate their support for the armed forces community.

Our pledge is now available on the MOD website listings. Click here to view. We will continue to best serve former military personnel through its ongoing business objectives.

If you feel you can assist or support former military personnel and wish to make this pledge then further details regarding the Corporate Covenant can be found by clicking here.
